About Us Inspiring Possibilities, a non profit 501(c)3 organization, is charged with assisting the financial needs of specially challenged students. This is achieved through fund raising activities as well as grant awards and other financial aid. We are proud to present our SAMURAI class for those with physical, developmental or emotional challenges. The individual must have a true diagnosed physical, developmental, or emotional condition, such as Blind, Deaf, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome or requiring the need of a wheelchair or walker. (excluding ADD & ADHD) Ages 6 and up through adulthood, as long as medically allowed to take the class. Students attend classes 3 times a week. Mission Statement Inspiring individuals with physical, developmental or emotional challenges to empower themselves to develop their full potential through the study and practice of Martial Arts and other Adapted Practices. All-Star Martial Arts is a Family owned and operated school that offers instruction to children and adults with special needs. Most students with disabilities need extra physical fitness. We do not push individuals beyond their limits but expect them to accomplish what they can. Our program is very structured and goal oriented. It is designed to help these individuals set and achieve goals and create a longing for structure. This is not a short term sport. We have seen individuals with disabilities become black belts and then go on to become instructors. We believe that interaction with other students is also important. Our advanced students participate as “buddies”. This helps the students of our school befriend these special individuals and provides mentors. Areas Of Operation |
